Amazing episode,Emilia really came such a long way to accepting her past and her current reality instead of a false one
Also Echidna seems to really dislike Emilia for some other stuff,maybe it's really to her mother or something else

she hates Emilia for two reasons. Its because she didn't like Emilia's mother and because she likes Subaru but Subaru likes Emilia as confirmed by the author.emilias mom was a human and her dad was an elf. From what I read in the novel Emilia's mom probably saved the elf village when she met her dad which is why the elf's thought highly of her eventhough she was a human.

Kinda confusing why ekidna reacted like that, when she saw everything about subaru and how he unexpectedly thanked her, she just brushed it off, but when Emilia does the same exact thing ekidna cries, seems like there is more to that relationship

I think She couldn't stand to see someone be offered an alternate "Good Future" life and have it turned down. It defies her core logic which is greed.

What person wouldn't want to live the life were things fell into place perfectly? Emilia though, has accepted her past and (I think) realized that the Good and the Bad of the past molds us into who we are today.

And its the choices we make, when the Good and Bad happen, that improves or worsens our character.
